Capabilities and processing
Enter a domain or paste nameservers (one per line, or dig NS output). For a domain, our server reads its NS records; pasted nameservers are read in your browser.
Each nameserver is matched against 30 providers. The page shows the share of nameservers per provider and flags a single nameserver, more than one provider, and self-hosted nameservers.
Example workflow
The sample domain has two nameservers at one provider and one at another, as after a migration that was not finished.
Limits and interpretation
NS records live at the zone apex, so a subdomain has none of its own; the page offers to look up the zone instead. Two providers can be deliberate secondary DNS. Nothing is stored.
