Capabilities and processing
Enter a name or paste NS records (dig or zone file lines). A name is sent to our server, which asks a public resolver; pasted records are read in your browser.
The nameservers at the zone apex, each with its provider, checked for count and for more than one provider. A name inside a zone has no NS records of its own; the page offers to look up the zone.
Example workflow
The sample domain is served by two providers, as after an unfinished migration.
Limits and interpretation
Two providers can be deliberate secondary DNS. Nothing is stored.
