        Capabilities and processing

Enter a domain, or paste HTML, response headers, or headers followed by a blank line and the HTML. For a domain, our server fetches the public HTTPS site with up to three redirects and returns the headers and the start of the HTML; pasted source is read in your browser.

About 50 technologies are detected, from content systems and shops to frameworks, analytics, payments, consent tools, servers and CDNs. Each detection shows the header or line of HTML it came from, and announced versions are flagged.

        Example workflow

The sample shop runs WordPress with WooCommerce behind a CDN, and announces both its WordPress and its PHP version.

        Limits and interpretation

The final response headers and up to 256 KiB of initial HTML are inspected. Scripts are not executed. Truncation, non-HTML responses and HTTP errors are reported. Signatures can be spoofed, and dynamically loaded or hidden technologies may be missed. Results are not persisted by the tool.
