## Capabilities and processing

Enter a domain, an IP address or paste RDAP JSON. Our server asks the registry over RDAP, the structured successor to WHOIS; pasted JSON is read in your browser.

For a domain: registrar and IANA ID, registration, expiry and change dates, status codes, nameservers, DNSSEC delegation, abuse contact, history and the raw record. For an IP address: the network, its range, the organisation and the abuse contact.

## Example workflow

The sample record shows a transfer-locked domain with redacted registrant details and a signed delegation.

## Limits and interpretation

Registrant details are usually redacted for privacy; that is shown, not guessed. Nothing is stored.
