# My Connection Info

See how your browser connects: TLS version and cipher, HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2 or HTTP/3, TCP or QUIC round-trip time, the edge location that answered, and your network.

## Capabilities and processing

The page reads the connection your browser opened to our server: the TLS version and cipher suite it negotiated, the HTTP version (HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2 or HTTP/3), the TCP or QUIC round-trip time measured at our edge, the edge location that answered (as an airport code), and your address and network.

Each layer is graded for what it means: TLS 1.3 is current and TLS 1.2 still secure, while TLS 1.0 and 1.1 are deprecated. Authenticated (AEAD) ciphers are modern; CBC-mode ciphers are older. HTTP/3 runs over QUIC, and a round trip above 150 ms is flagged.

## Example workflow

A browser on a home connection shows TLS 1.3 over HTTP/2 with a 23 ms TCP round trip to a nearby edge. Checking again on the same browser can switch to HTTP/3 once it has learned the site supports it; if it never does, UDP 443 may be blocked on that network.

## Limits and interpretation

This describes one connection, to our server. Another site, a VPN or a proxy negotiates its own versions. The round trip is to our nearest edge, not end-to-end internet quality. Values that the connection does not report are shown as not reported. Nothing is stored.
